Every day, an everage of 4 families in the Netherlands hear that their child has a serious, sometimes even life-threatening illness. This amounts to over 1500 children per year. What follows are months, sometimes years, entirely focussed on hospitals, treatments and an uncertain future. Make-A-Wish offers children a magical series of positive experiences that turn wishes into reality. It gives children resilience for the future. Currently, we fulfil 600 wishes per year. That's a lot, but not enough! Their goal is to fulfil wishes for all children with a serious illness.
