As I announced before I left HR a few weeks ago to enjoy myself with the tax money you keep paying to the Dutch government, without doing anything important myself!
I have been enjoying being a teacher and being a colleague at TMA for a very long time. I want to thank all of you for you were supporting me and challenging me. I believe I have been one of the happiest teachers in the world all the time, thanks to you.
On Thursday 16 September at 17.00-19.00 HR wants to give a farewell party for me on Kralingse Zoom. Please send an e-mail to my former colleague Ms Chantal Hettich c.hettich@hr.nl for registration if you want to attend the party.
If you want to be nice to me with a small present, please don't buy anything, but help me to gather an amount of money to support medical research at the Academic MC in Leiden.
One of my best colleagues Mathilde (a teacher of the Japanese language, Japanese Society and Sustainability) with whom I shared beautiful memories as well as one of the toughest periods in my career turns out to have a very rare type of cancer, sarcoma. She keeps fighting against cancer bravely while she looks to enjoy her life very cheerfully. I saw she asked on her Facebook her friends for donations to support the research on this type of cancer at the AMC in Leiden a month ago. And I decided to use this occasion to ask for your attention and financial support for this medical research to celebrate the memories of the most amazing study program ever, TMA.
