After many years of our London to Brighton charity cycle, last year saw our first NV spin off event hosted in Paris... and now we’re bringing it to Amsterdam !
On Thursday 29th June we are organising a cycle from our NV offices in Amsterdam, to Wassenaar beach near the Hague. This is an 80km cycle in aid of an excellent cause.
Based locally in Amsterdam, War Child Holland works exclusively to improve the resilience and wellbeing of children living with violence and armed conflict, delivering vital child protection, education and psychosocial support.
The number of children affected by war and violence is reaching new highs - and the available funds to meet their needs are nowhere near enough. War Child reaches many thousands of children and youth every year - yet there are a record 230 million children living directly with the effects of violence and armed conflict. Their overall goal is that increasing numbers of children and youth will access quality interventions - incorporating vital child protection, education and psychosocial support - and as a result enjoy improved psychosocial wellbeing.https://www.warchildholland.org/mission/
