I raise money for Diabetes because I care

My father 73 years of age is diabetic type 2 for many years. Diabetes cause many complications. Reduce of energy and vitality, hypertension, eye problems, amputations, pain in the legs, kidney failure. These are terrible things that can happen to you when you are Diabetic type 2. Together with my father I want to fight this disease by raising money to stop diabetes so that people can have a better life and be happy! On Sunday 14 October 2012 I will run my sixth marathon. I decided to run the marathon of Limone sul Garda in Trentino (Italy). Trentino is my hometown. I lived there for two years. I said goodbye to Rotterdam in 2009 and I started an adventure in Italy. During the marathon we will pass through Arco, Riva del Garda, Bolognano and Torbole. There will be friends waiting for me and encouraging me to keep on running. This could be one of the most challenging experiences of my life...
