The LUCID Running team is an international group of amateur runners belonging to the Leiden University Center for Infectious Diseases of the Leiden University Medical Center. Our goals are to run regularly together for better knowing each others and to contribute to fundraidsing for charities once or twice a year as a running team.

Dirk Kuyt Foundation maakt zich sterk voor sporters met een beperking
Veel sporters met een beperking lopen tegen hindernissen aan als ze willen sporten: het ontbreken van aangepast materiaal, gebrek aan vervoer of te hoge kosten voor een specifieke sport. Sporten wordt in dergelijke gevallen onbereikbaar. En dat terwijl sporten niet alleen fysiek gezond is, maar ook zorgt voor sociaal welzijn. De Dirk Kuyt Foundation biedt aan individuele sporters en teams de mogelijkheid om een aanvraag in te dienen voor een bijdrage om te starten met sporten of te blijven sporten.
